Dana White Contender Series Week 5 Best Bets

This week, we have two fighters making their return to the show. If you're new to this page, I always blind bet on fighters making their second trip to the Contender Series. Since MGM doesn’t carry any of these fights, all lines are from Bet365.

S. Dyer KO/TKO/Dec -140 — Coming over from PFL, and in a women’s division, I’m surprised she didn’t just jump straight into the big show. With 4 KOs in 6 wins, I’d sprinkle a little on her to get a KO outright in this fight.

F. Vidal ML +350 — He’s the better athlete, and the line doesn’t match his skill level. I think the line is so high because he’s coming in on short notice

C. Teague ML +450 — His second trip on the show, and he’s picked up two wins in the meantime. Both he and his opponent haven’t fought anyone UFC level, so I have no idea why this line is so large.

A. Guarascio + Under 1.5 rounds to win by KO/Sub +115 — He’s the faster, more explosive heavyweight, with an impressive regional win against Bailey Schoenfelder, who trains out of Kill Cliff. He’s a definite threat to finish.

C. Blair ML -110 — Also making his second appearance, and he faced tough competition last time out, including Kody Steel. I think he gets the finish here, but I’ll just take the short favorite in this spot.
