Sunday Week 2 Preview

Not too many marquee games on this week's slate, but there are still some intriguing matchups nonetheless. I would say the best games on Sunday are Chiefs vs. Eagles, Jaguars vs. Bengals, and Seahawks vs. Steelers.

Chiefs vs. Eagles — Super Bowl rematch from last season. The Chiefs looked bad against the Chargers, but I think that is because the Chargers are just that good. The Eagles looked one-dimensional against the Cowboys, but that won't work against a team like Kansas City. They are going to need to get the passing game going early and often if they want to prevent the Chiefs from starting 0-2.

Jaguars vs. Bengals — Two teams trying their hardest to make the postseason this year, both coming off Week 1 wins. If you like offense, this game is for you. I think that’s why the Jaguars announced they will play Hunter on defense more because the Bengals are going to be pass-happy all game.

Seahawks vs. Giants — Let’s see if Aaron Rodgers was playing with hate in his heart or if he’s back to normal. It takes most people two seasons to recover from an Achilles tear, and last year was his first. If he lights it up again this week, he might be back, and the Steelers could be a problem.

Player & Game Bets:

- Mike Evans TD +115 — He is from Houston, and he acknowledged that this could be the last time he plays in his hometown in his career. I expect him to turn back the clock.

- D. Henry TD — Browns are talking crazy; he responded by saying he’ll see them on Sunday. He’s also coming off a fumble that changed the game and led to a loss.

- David Montgomery Anytime TD +118 — He’s facing the Bears, his old team. The entire team is mad that their former Offensive Coordinator is now the Bears' head coach, so they’ll be playing with a chip on their shoulder.

- Patriots ML +110 — Dolphins suck. I think the Patriots are better everywhere on the field except for WR.

- AJ Brown Over 65.5 rec yards -115 — They didn’t even look his way last game. I expect him to be heavily involved this time, especially since they’ll force them to win via pass, not run.

- JJ McCarthy Over 219.5 -115 — He just had a kid Thursday night and left practice for it. He will have added motivation to this game.

- Travis Hunter Anytime TD +225 — I think they’ll try to get him more involved every week.
