UFC Best Bets 8/9/25

E. McConico ML (+140): A very explosive fighter who has an opponent willing to engage to start the card. If you watch UFC, Dana and the matchmakers tend to create fan-friendly fights to set the tone for the event.  

E. Smith Round 1 (+125): This is a huge mismatch, and the oddsmakers agree—he's a -700 favorite. The fact that I can get him to win in round 1 on plus money is a steal.  

M. Johns ML (+225): I don’t think his opponent is much better than him, and Johns will almost always have a power advantage in every fight. He has also mentioned on the mic that he wants to “fight the easiest guy for the most money,” so I don’t think he’ll take fights he believes he might lose.  

A. Fili ML (+190): I believe he will be too quick and slick on the feet, as he normally is. If C. Rod can’t take him down, I expect Fili to win this fight convincingly.  

R. Dolidze KO/TKO/Sub (+375): This is a good matchup for him because he is bigger, and he will be fighting a guy who tries to set the pace and walk him down. I honestly don’t think he’ll be outworked, so I expect him to finish the fight before we even reach the main event rounds.
