KSIN Weekend Best Bets Friday

MLB: 

- White Sox ML (+118): White Sox starting pitcher Aaron Civale began his career in Cleveland, who they are playing today. The White Sox are also coming off being swept by Seattle, which is a rare sight after the All-Star break. I expect them to bounce back against a team that will be a step down from what they just faced in Seattle.  

- Braves ML (+110): The Braves are home underdogs against the Marlins. I don't know how many times I have said that in my adult life, so I will be taking the Braves.  

- DBacks -1.5 (-118): They are playing a poor Rockies team, and the D-backs can hit fairly well, so I expect them to win this game by more than 2 runs. If you want to add a run or two for better odds, that might be the way to go.  

- Dodgers vs. Blue Jays Under 9 (-115): Two uncapped pitchers going at it in this one. I expect both to turn back the clock in this game.  

NFL:  

- Browns 2+ Passing TDs (+400) DFS: I think Sanders is going to go out there and shut the critics down; then the goalpost will be moved to "it's just a preseason game vs. the Panthers." I would also look into the team receiving yards odds, as I think they will be using the screen game in this one.  

- Browns ML (+225): For the reasons I mentioned above, and they are still playing the Panthers.  

WNBA: 

- Storm ML (+100): The Storm are the better team and have beaten the Aces 2 out of the 3 times they have played this year. The Aces do have the best player on the court, but this isn’t the best matchup for Wilson either.
